Essence is the soul, vital force, constitution, intrinsic nature, or energy of a particular person, place, or substance.  An essence is obtained from a substance by infusion, and contains the characteristic properties of the infused substance in concentrated form. An essence heals on a vibrational, energetic, level.

Placenta Essence has the power to heal mother and child in a variety of different areas. Placenta Essence is useful in times of illness, especially unknown illness or illness of unknown origin; hormonal imbalance, physical trauma, emotional trauma or distress, life transitions, PMS, menopause, and stress. The Placenta Essence can also be diluted in some water to be given to a young child or baby during times of illness or life transition to bring them back into physical and emotional balance. This is an amazing gift to give your child, and one that will last them a life-time if cared for and used properly.

The placenta essence is obtained by placing the raw placenta in distilled water to create a tincture. After a period of time the placenta is then removed and the tincture strained. It is then preserved with 100 proof vodka to create a 50/50 solution of placenta essence tincture water and alcohol. This is known as the “Mother” Placenta Essence Tincture, and is now a fully preserved, long-lasting tincture that should last indefinitely if cared for properly. Using a whole placenta you should end up with about 1 – 2 quarts of Placenta Essence Tincture.

Creating the placenta essence is very easy and fully compatible with the encapsulation process. I simply come over for one additional visit, about 5 hours prior to beginning the encapsulation process to start the process of creating the Placenta Essence Tincture. I will then finish it when I come over to begin the encapsulation process, and it is ready for use at that time. The capsules will be ready for use at the end of the next visit.

Placenta Homeopathic Remedy

After the Placenta Essence Tincture has sat for 1 – 2 weeks, it can then be used to create Placenta Homeopathic Remedy.

Placenta Remedy is considered to be the child’s perfect constitutional remedy throughout the child’s lifetime. Placenta Remedy could be used for many/any constitutional or unusual ailments, except when a specific remedy is more appropriate (e.g. arnica for bruising). The placenta contains all the characteristic properties of the person it nurtured in utero (i.e. their strengths and weaknesses). So, treating the child with their own Placenta Remedy will establish balance when there is imbalance.

A portion of the mother tincture is successively shaken and diluted; a 6c to 12c potency for the normal sickness and transitions of childhood or 40c up to an M potency for acute or chronic illnesses (and with the oversight of a homeopathic practitioner).

The 6C remedy could promote general health, boost immunity, strengthen and balance the child. It may be given twice a day for a child who looks run down, pale, or their appetite needs to be stimulated.  It could be given four times a day if the child seems to be developing an illness like a cold, virus, unidentifiable illness or illness of unknown origin, or if the child has a runny nose or cough, etc.  It could also be taken as needed for times of transition or stress like colic, teething, weaning, separation anxiety, potty training, first day of school, moving, parents divorcing, etc.; and even later in life for similar situations, especially for females beginning menstruation, pregnancy, new mother, breastfeeding, and menopause; and for male or female during times of change like starting college, career change, identity crisis, etc.

For more chronic conditions such as autism, cancer or significant injury, a higher potency like 40C or even up to an M dilution would be necessary.  This would need to be done with the help and oversight of a homeopath or naturopath.
